First Floor -Renovation in progress
This entailed the renovation the 1st floor, includes the creation of six classrooms, installation of partition walls segmenting the classrooms, leveling and plastering of floors, installation of windows and doors, whiteboard, electrification of the classrooms and painting of the classroom walls. On completion of Phase 1, we shall furnish the classrooms with tables and chairs, for immediate use by the teachers and students.
The interior of the 1st Floor Classroom being worked by GWS, we still have electrical work, windows and doors to add, plus all the teaching and learning equipment such as whiteboard and if funding allows, Overhead Projector.
The window frames appear durable enough but this will be assessed when we return to this floor in the coming months.

The wall on the right hand side of the last picture is the proposed height with solid blocks. We propose to finish with Vented blocks in the corridor area. The wall to the left will be taken to ceiling height as it partitions two classrooms.
First Floor- Renovation in progress
The walls (made of solid blocks in this picture) show the height that separates the classrooms. They are finished with vented blocks in the corridor area. The walls built the to ceiling height as it partitions two classrooms, reduces the intrusion of sound between the rooms and allows for uninterrupted teaching and learning.
Partitioned the classrooms- the corridor window sizes are to be maintained.

Renovation of The Third Floor
This entailed the restoration of the third floor and replacement of the entire roof. This process is in train, beginning with the installation of concrete beams and columns on the 3rd floor, in preparation for the installation of a new roof.
Conclusion
The Magnitude and Scale of this renovation is not lost on members. At completion (we hope in 2018), we anticipate the cost will be an estimated $200, 000.00 (two hundred thousand US dollars).
We believe that to fully grasp the scale of the issues the school confronts, it will be necessary to undertake a comprehensive study. This study should gather date on the infrastructure, furniture and fixings, teacher quality and ratio of student-to-teacher, criteria for student admission and teaching and learning, teaching and learning, broadly, external examination preparation and results, school policies- from admission to appointment of teachers and staff, the role, function and support of the United Methodist Church and Conference, and the Ministry of Education, SL, and none-profit organizations affiliated and supporting the school.
